Job summary

Kerry, the world’s leading taste and nutrition company, is seeking a PTP Entry Associate in Mexico to join our Finance team. This role focuses on Procure-to-Pay and Accounts Payable, collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely payments.

The ideal candidate has an Accounting/Finance background with 1+ year in related areas, SAP familiarity, strong Excel skills, and English at B2+ level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable or PTP.
• ERP experience; SAP experience is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables and formulas).
• English B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders in PTP.
• Support vendor relationship management and invoice processing.
• Validate vendor invoices with proper approvals and documentation before payment deadlines.
• Assist in invoice and payment dispute resolution.
• Coordinate ad-hoc payment transactions and SOA reconciliations.
• Follow escalation processes to resolve issues and ensure timely PTP activities.

About the role

We are looking for a PTP Entry Associate to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a background in Accounting or Finance who is looking to continue developing their career within the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) area and work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support vendor relationship management.
• Validate vendor invoices, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation are in place before payment deadlines.
• Support invoice and payment dispute resolution.
• Coordinate and schedule ad-hoc payment transactions.
• Perform Statement of Account (SOA) reconciliations.
• Follow established escalation processes to resolve outstanding issues.
• Ensure accuracy and timely execution of assigned PTP activities.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1+ year of experience, ideally within Accounts Payable, PTP, Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
• Experience working with an ERP system. SAP experience is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and formulas.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• English B2+, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
