Purpose of Role
The purpose of the Psychologist role is to assess, diagnose, and support individuals with emotional, psychological, behavioural, or mental health difficulties. The psychologist uses evidence-based interventions to help clients improve their well-being, cope with challenges, and achieve positive mental health outcomes. Working collaboratively with students, families and other professionals, the psychologist plays a key role in promoting psychological resilience and supporting holistic care within the organization.
