Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Psicólogo/a to provide trauma-informed psychological services to violence victims in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on EMDR/CBT therapy, crisis intervention, and holistic care for survivors in the Tijuana region, leveraging telehealth platforms to reach clients securely.

Requirements include a Master’s/Doctoral degree in Psychology, a valid license in Mexico, and at least 5 years of clinical experience with trauma cases.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
• Valid professional license to practice psychology in Mexico.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years focused on trauma and violence victims.
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapies for PTSD.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms for sessions and records.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals who have experienced violence.
• Provide individual psychotherapy using trauma-informed approaches (e.g., EMDR, CBT).
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans addressing trauma symptoms, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support to clients in acute distress.
• Facilitate support groups for survivors of specific types of violence.
• Collaborate with legal advocates, social workers, and other professionals for holistic support.
• Maintain confidential records through a secure telehealth platform.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and families about trauma and recovery.
• Stay updated on best practices and research in trauma psychology.
