The Package Refurbishment & Upgrades (PRU) Design Engineer is responsible for designing turbine and driven equipment system upgrades to existing fielded equipment for specific customer sales orders as part of a multi-disciplined project execution team. These industrial gas turbine package systems include: fuel, start, lube, air, compressor seal, fire and gas detection, enclosure ventilation, and other package systems supporting gas turbine and driven equipment operation. The engineer will create or modify existing equipment documentation, device lists, and component source drawings. They will interface with PRU Project Application Engineering, PRU Project Management, Mabank Operations, Field Personnel, and other departments to ensure all sales order deliverables meet customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electronic, Mechatronic, Mechanical)
• 0-1 years of relevant experience
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of PLC software
• Working knowledge of CAD systems (Promis-e preferred, AutoCAD, CADDS-5 alternates)
• Basic understanding of industrial control systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship related to the technical field
• Technical skills in programming Rockwell Automation PLC 5 and ControlLogix 5000 processors
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrate team spirit, and adapt to deadlines
• Organizational skills and a sense of urgency to manage multiple projects
