Rockwell Automation in Monterrey, MX is seeking a Prototype Assembler to perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks for pre-production requirements. You will follow schematics, blueprints, and verbal directions to build assemblies and components, with possible rework and quality testing.

The role involves interacting with development and manufacturing teams and reports to the Production Supervisor at the Monterrey site.

Formación

• Technician high school diploma or equivalent (or 6 months related experience).
• Familiarity with electrical diagrams and wiring is advantageous.
• Willingness to schedule availability to support production needs.

Job Description

As a Prototype Assembler, you will perform several electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks to support developmental requirements in pre-production projects. You will work from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. You may perform rework and quality testing. You will typically include interaction with development and manufacturing engineering personnel. You will report to the Production Supervisor and this position is located in Monterrey, Manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform several electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks to support developmental requirements in pre-production projects.
• Work from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
• May perform rework and quality testing.
• Work on routine assignments requiring limited judgment.
• Work with peers and internal customers to exchange or present factual information.

Essentials - You Will Have

• Technician High School diploma or equivalent. (or 6 months experience in a similar positions)

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• Read electrical diagrams
• Wiring experience
• Schedule availability.
• Typically requires no previous related experience.
