Rockwell Automation in Tecate, Baja California, is seeking an entry-level assembler to perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks according to blueprints and specifications.

You will wire, install components, solder, harness, and verify quality, while following safety standards and reporting issues to supervision. This on-site role reports to the Production Supervisor and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

  • Completed High School Diploma.
  • At least 3 months of prior experience.
  • Must complete and pass general company training and area-specific training.
  • Follow precise instructions and ensure assembly.

Responsabilidades

  • Operate production machinery or perform repetitive assembly tasks requiring concentration and dexterity.
  • Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies according to drawings and specifications.
  • Follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and harness assembly.

  • Record inspection data and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with teams to meet production goals and deadlines.

Job Description

RPerform several electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies, following established methods and sequences. Responsibilities include wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing, ensuring compliance with blueprint specifications.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery or tools, or perform repetitive assembly tasks requiring concentration, manual dexterity, and tool-handling skills.
  • Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Determine and follow methods and sequences of operations for tasks such as wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and harness assembly.
  • Ensure that components and assemblies meet quality standards and established tolerances.
  • Report any equipment, tool, material, or process issues to the group leader or supervisor.
  • Notify the supervisor of any deviations from established quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and procedures to verify required characteristics.
  • Adjust and set up necessary equipment and tools to ensure accuracy in the assembly process.
  • Comply with Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards.
  • Resolve assembly issues, making process adjustments as needed.
  • Record inspection data to help ensure product quality and reliability using quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety and occupational health standards.
  • Document assembly activities and results for future tracking and review.
  • Collaborate with other teams to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow standardized processes to achieve quality goals, meet production plans, and maintain attendance and punctuality.

  • Education: Completed High School Diploma.
  • Experience: At least 3 months of prior experience.
  • Training: Must complete and pass general company training and area-specific training.
  • Follow precise instructions and ensure assembly.

  • Familiarity with wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors.
