Formación

• Experiencia en suscripción de riesgos inmobiliarios (3+ años).
• Fluidez en español e inglés comercial (escrito y hablado) requerida.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluar y suscribir diferentes riesgos inmobiliarios con exposición a NatCat.
• Construir y expandir relaciones comerciales con clientes y corredores.

Property Underwriter Facultative (m/w/d*) 2025

To harvest the business potential in a challenging market situation we look for a passionate Property Underwriter. You build upon our main position in our region, live underwriting excellence by example and share your main abilities and experience with our clients and our teams.

The diversity of our markets requires tailored risk transfer solutions with sound technical underwriting and the determination to find solutions where others offer capacity only.

Our office serves Mexico and Central America including Panama.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing and underwriting different property single risks (facultative) with important NatCat exposure within our region.
2. Ensure excellence in all underwriting related tasks, i.e. risk assessment, negotiation, administration and documentation.
3. Pro-actively building, enhancing and expanding our business relations with our clients, cedents and brokers, with a clear focus on understanding clients needs to find solutions and acquire (new) profitable business.
4. Close co-operation with and support of our Client Management and Treaty UW teams to safeguard a holistic client approach and Client Team Excellence.
5. Prepare and conduct seminars and workshops for clients in our region.

Your profile:

1. University degree.
2. Property Single Risk Underwriting experience (3+ years).
3. Knowledge of reinsurance is desirable.
4. Analytical excellence with solution-orientation and an out-of-the-box mindset.
5. Abilities in Data Management is desirable.
6. Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
7. High affinity for teamwork in a versatile environment.
8. High degree of client orientation, negotiation & marketing skills.
9. High level of self-motivation, commitment, disposition to learn & take ownership.
10. Adaptability and willingness to travel.
11. Intercultural competence is desirable.
12. Fluent Spanish and Business English (written and spoken) are required.
