Role Summary

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer with strong communication skills and experience handling real estate transactions in Mexico. You will be responsible for managing property closings, advising clients on legal risks, reviewing and drafting contracts, and working closely with notaries and public registries.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on property acquisitions and legal risks
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts (promise agreements, deeds, etc.)
  • Coordinate with notaries, banks, and authorities for property closings
  • Analyze documents such as title deeds, trust (fideicomiso) agreements, powers of attorney, and permits
  • Assist in legal due diligence and property history reports
  • Handle donation, inheritance, and corporate real estate transactions
  • Communicate with foreign clients in English (written and verbal)

Requirements

  • Mexican law degree and license to practice (título mexicano de licenciatura en derecho y cédula profesional)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate law in Mexico
  • Strong knowledge of fideicomisos, notarial processes, and public registry procedures
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (professional level)
  • Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with foreign clients
  • Previous work with notarial offices, real estate agencies, real estate developments or closing services
  • Familiarity with cross-border transactions or international clients

Job description: As a Remote Loan Originator at MHML, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential borrowers in need of hard money loans. You will play a crucial role in driving loan origination and revenue growth for the company. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with unlimited earning potential.

Salary: $10/hour + $00 per originated loan

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential borrowers, including real estate investors, developers, and property flippers.
  • Educate clients about our hard money lending products, services, and lending criteria.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure efficient loan processing and approvals.
  • Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and fees with borrowers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the real estate market trends and stay updated on industry regulations.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about competitors\' offerings and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities and threats.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate professionally in English.
  • Impeccable customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in mortgage lending sales or similar role. Hard money is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of real estate financing, lending criteria, and underwriting processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales and building client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Compensation: Base salary with uncapped commission structure.
