A leading company is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support a U.S.-based real estate investment firm. This full-time remote role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting skills and Yardi experience. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledger accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate, and excellent English communication skills.

Property Accountant (MRI Experience Required)

Zipdev is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to support a U.S.-based real estate investment firm. This is a full-time remote role ideal for someone with strong accounting skills, Yardi experience, and a deep understanding of financial reporting within the real estate sector. You'll work directly with the Controller to ensure accurate property-level accounting and support the broader finance team.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries and month-end reports.
2. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and sales tax filings.
3. Prepare monthly financial packages and perform bank reconciliations.
4. Handle CAM estimates and reconciliations for assigned properties.
5. Set up new properties in Yardi and verify lease/tenant data.
6. Support debt tracking, budget entry, and owner distributions.
7. Collaborate on ad hoc reporting and financial analysis projects.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within real estate or property management.
• Proficiency in Yardi (strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP and U.S. accounting practices.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Currently living in LATAM.
