Job Description

Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader committed to helping manufacturers become more productive, sustainable, and agile. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team. You will report to the Engineering Manager in Mexico, working remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support to customers and colleagues in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Rockwell automation products and solutions.
2. Install and commission Rockwell automation equipment and systems in industrial environments, ensuring they function correctly and meet customer specifications.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in automation systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operation.
4. Provide technical training to customers and colleagues on the use and maintenance of Rockwell's automation products and solutions, including troubleshooting best practices.
5. Collaborate with internal teams (application engineers, product developers) and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products.
4. Intermediate proficiency in English.
5. Availability to travel approximately 80% of the time.

• Logix programming, PlantPAx, GEMS, S88 / Phase Manager, Application Code Manager
• Networking, Ethernet communications, Infrastructure
• FTViewME/SE, Virtualization, ThinManager, AssetCentre, Disaster Recovery, Security
• FTHistorian, FTBatch, SQL Reporting Services
