EL Customer Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization for Electrification and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business - Marketing & Sales and stakeholders
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Sales Support - Offering technical advice and providing comment on specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB products/systems/applications.Provides technical support during technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs. Proposes technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Project Execution - Plans and implements multiple simultaneous electrical projects at various customer work sites in the US, including the activities of staff and subcontractors. Identifies and manages opportunities to expand projects in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy profitability requirements, including change orders. Meets or exceeds loading targets based on team requirements.
Electrical projects will be focused in the commercial construction markets and may include, but are not limited to, retail, airports, entertainment, hospitals, education (schools, colleges, universities), multi-story residential and water/waste-water treatment plants. - Customer Representation - Serves as the primary customer contact for the duration of each project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate.
- Technical Documentation - Prepares and checks technical documents for submittal to customers.

Qualifications for the role- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus
- You are highly skilled in project management frameworks and the Electrification market.
- You have minimum 5 years of experience in project management, engineering or manufacturing role.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms, and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, UL), particularly in commercial and industrial construction environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced English Level Mandatory
