An academic institution is seeking a Project Officer to manage administrative aspects of projects in the Department of Social Work & Social Administration. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and has 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include coordinating project activities, organizing events, and supporting office operations. Project Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer / Clerk I) in the Department of Social Work & Social Administration (Ref.: 532500) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with 2-3 years of administrative experience in public or non-profit organizations. They should also have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, good organizational and communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.

The Appointee Will Be Responsible For

  • Managing all project-related administrative matters, including coordination of project activities, budget tracking, reimbursements, and reporting;
  • Assisting the project team in organizing project events such as conferences, symposiums, seminars, and workshops;
  • Providing secretarial support for team meetings;
  • Supporting day-to-day operations of the office;
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be appointed as Clerk I.
