What do you get to do in this position?
- Lead the definition of the right scenario for the new plant.
- Review business growth ambitions and determine capacity needs for different product lines versus current capacity.
- Define when the new capacity must be operational.
- Determine the manufacturing processes to be installed and identify sourcing options from other SE plants or OG suppliers.
- Organize the project team and the team needed to manage the plant in "run" mode.
Project management
- Create a detailed project plan for the selected scenario, including resources, budget, etc., and lead the project team.
- Guide the project team to execute the project according to the timeline and budget established at the DO stage gate.
- Assign appropriate resources to each workstream.
- Assist the project team in resolving issues blocking progress.
- Ensure all relevant stakeholders are involved and informed as needed.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory processes.
- Manage risk and issue resolution processes.
Minimum qualifications
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Engineering.
- Specialization in Management, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain environment within a multinational corporation.
- Deep understanding of electrical switchgear manufacturing in an ETO (Engineered to Order) environment is highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in successfully executing projects.
- Experience in setting up a greenfield plant is a definite advantage.
- Comfortable with functional reporting (dotted/dual line) as well as hierarchical mode (direct/solid line) in large matrix organizations.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory).
