Job summary

Bosch México seeks a Project Manager to plan, lead, and coordinate projects involving automation systems and production lines, from entry to on-site commissioning and post-service support.

The role requires a degree in automation/mechatronics/manufacturing/electrical engineering, 3+ years in industrial projects, strong cost/resource/risk controls, and B2-level English. Travel to customer facilities will be needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in automation, mechatronics, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  • PMP/CAPM or similar certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and executing industrial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and coordinate projects for special-purpose machines, automation systems, and assembly lines.
  • Be the primary contact from order entry through installation, commissioning, and post-service support.
  • Prepare presentations, progress reports, and executive summaries.

Job Description

The Project Manager should plan, lead, and coordinate projects involving the construction of special-purpose machines, automation systems, and assembly lines, using internal and external resources to meet time, cost, quality, and technical scope objectives.

She/he will be the primary point of contact and will be responsible for all project-related matters from order entry through installation and commissioning at the customer’s facility, including post-service support.

Qualifications
  • Degree in automation, mechatronics, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and executing industrial projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience building special-purpose machines, production lines, or manufacturing tools.
  • Knowledge of cost, resource, risk, schedule, and quality control.
  • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to prepare presentations, progress reports, and executive summaries.
  • B2-level English proficiency required.
  • Availability to support projects at customer facilities and provide post-commissioning support.
