Bosch México in Toluca is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee the machining workshop, guiding the design and machining of spare parts and wear parts, and developing fixtures for quality, manufacturing and engineering teams.

You will coordinate internal resources and external suppliers, lead training and development, set work plans and shift schedules, and drive improvements to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with ergonomic, safety and quality standards.

Formación

  • 2+ years in a similar machining or manufacturing leadership role.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish at a B2 level or higher.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and inspection methods.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead, motivate, recognize, and train personnel in compliance with internal regulations.
  • Develop work plans, shift schedules and overtime for technicians to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate external supplier support for machining parts and surface/thermal treatments.
  • Generate area performance reports and implement countermeasures for target compliance.
  • Maintain equipment by creating maintenance plans and supervising TPM activities.

Job Description

Responsible for managing machining workshop resources to support manufacturing areas in the design and machining of spare parts, replacement components, and wear parts, as well as developing fixtures/tooling for quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams. Oversees implementation of required improvements through internal resources and/or external suppliers.

Main Objective

Responsible for managing machining workshop resources to support manufacturing areas in the design and machining of spare parts, replacement components, and wear parts, as well as developing fixtures/tooling for quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams. Oversees implementation of required improvements through internal resources and/or external suppliers.

What challenges will you have?
  • Lead, motivate, recognize, and ensure training and development of personnel within your area of responsibility, in compliance with RIT (Internal Work Regulations) and CCT (Collective Bargaining Agreement).
  • Develop work plans, shift schedules, and overtime assignments for machining technicians to ensure on-time delivery to customers.Improve ergonomics and working conditions, ensuring that workstations comply with ergonomic, regulatory, and corporate standards.
  • Oversee external supplier support for the workshop, including machining of parts requiring surface treatments, thermal treatments, and special machining—managing quotes, work orders, quality control, and final payment approval.
  • Generate area performance reports, analyze root causes of deviations, and implement containment/countermeasures to ensure target compliance.
  • Ensure proper equipment condition by developing maintenance plans (executed via internal/external services) and supervising autonomous maintenance (TPM) activities.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual proficiency (English–Spanish) at a B2 level or higher.
  • Knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and process improvement.
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and optimizing resources.
Technical Knowledge
  • Proficient in applying GD&T principles to technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM tools and their application in engineering processes.
  • Specialist knowledge of machining techniques and manufacturing processes.
