Responsibilities:
- Definition and continuous improvement of material flow and warehouse standards (process, equipment, postings, … within the plants), global roll out, training and support of the Plant Logistics Managers and Regional Logistics Managers.
- Definition and coordination of logistics standards and projects for operational efficiency, cost drivers, KPIs, logistics benchmark.
- Identification of logistics related improvement potentials in the plants, good/best practices within/outside VC regarding process, factory layout, equipment for material flow, warehouse, KPIs.
- Run and participate in global, cross functional / department projects to support with logistics know how.
- Drive cost savings programs by running logistics, operations projects and workshops globally.
- Manage and roll out global logistics continuous improvement, standardization and implementation projects of e.g., ERP, WM, MRP, SD, PP, MES, CMMS.
- Manage transfer of logistics requirements in specification, the coordination and implementation (incl. customizing) as the interface between Business and IT.
- Manage “END TO END” PROCESSES incl. trainings & definition of KPIs to assure sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Implement Logistics ERP Strategy with OneERP Team.
- Assure qualification, know-how transfer, check of sustainability and identification of improvement potentials within Plant Process Reviews and plant user trainings.
- Support and coordinate in interface projects with Sales, SCM and IT.
- Test and approve logistics changes in SAP / other ERP if necessary.
- Process documentation.
- Support of Logistics Management.
Qualifications:
- Academical degree with main focus on logistics or production.
- Project & process management in the area of logistics processes.
- Management experiences and leadership within projects.
- Min. 5 years of experience in same or similar positions in the automotive industry.
- Project & Process Management leading complex projects and international teams in the automotive industry.
- Lean Experience.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP system.
- Knowledge in logistics and production flows, warehouse and material flow planning.
- Consulting and customizing experience in SAP processes (modules MM, WM, PP, SD, PM).
- Very good written and spoken English skills, further languages are desirable.
- Analytical thinking, eager to improve, able to organize and prioritize work / organization, leadership, contact and communications skills, customer oriented behavior, data preparation and analysis.
- Enjoy business travel.
- Strong cross-cultural skills.
- Working independently.
