A leading company in Tijuana seeks an Account Manager to enhance customer relationships and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, bilingual abilities, and relevant experience in sales or supply chain management. This role involves significant customer interaction and requires travel to client facilities.

Formación

  • 1-2 years of relevant business-to-business sales or account management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in account business reviews, category line reviews, and new item presentations.
  • Provide strong leadership and detailed preparation during annual business planning for assigned customers, with responsibility for volume forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure successful outcomes of assigned projects, including customer service, routing problem resolution (including accounts receivable), and customer interaction.
  • Review production schedules to anticipate changes in order status and proactively communicate issues to customers.
  • Coordinate and follow up on shipments of products until delivery.
  • Develop solutions that best address customer needs, coordinate with other departments and employees as needed, and work constantly with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Review account budgets and pricing to improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules, and procedures. Follow rules and guidelines strictly, always using the correct procedure for the job.
  • Travel to customers’ facilities and industry-related events to promote business.
  • Perform other related responsibilities to achieve the highest levels of customer service, efficiency, and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills.
  • 1-2 years of relevant business-to-business sales experience, account management, or sales experience in the supply chain industry preferred.

  • Degree studies in business administration, international business, foreign relations, or industrial engineering.
