Thales Group está buscando un Project Manager para servicios de pago digital en Ciudad de México. La posición implica liderar proyectos complejos, asegurar la satisfacción del cliente y gestionar todos los aspectos de la ejecución del proyecto. Se requiere conocimiento en integraciones y fluidez en inglés y español para tratar con clientes internacionales. Formación

  • Experiencia en gestión de proyectos de TI, preferiblemente en pagos digitales.
  • Dominio del inglés y español; portugués es un plus.
  • Certificación PMP o Prince2 es una ventaja.

Project Manager – Digital Payment

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Deliver the solution (Digital Payment Services) in compliance with, in order of priority, the contract between Thales and the customer, the Professional Services (PS) Statement of Work, the Thales proposal, the customer requirements.
  • Drive the project from Kick-Off to invoicing by ensuring customer satisfaction, committed time and quality, project profitability and Thales interests while keeping customer satisfaction at the highest possible level.
  • Complete and validate customer requirement specifications with the project team and getting it approved by the customer.
  • When applicable, write the project management plan and ensure of its right monitoring.
  • Manage project risks and related action plans.
  • Manage projects interdependencies and remove obstacles.
  • Build and update project plan
  • Managing customer interface as the main Point of Contact. Take ownership on the communication and stakeholder management.
  • Report internally and externally on project progress and issues (responsible for alerts and escalations).
  • Ensure configuration management rules are applied and project artifacts (both technical and project management) are recorded in the project repository.
  • Deliver projects to customer according to the contractual delivery milestones.
  • Ensure smooth handover to the operation/support team or specific internal/external interface.
  • Follow up on project activities and tasks with the project resources assigned and update project tasks ETC and related planning.
  • Assist project technical resources in resolving technical issues on project tasks and product deployment.
  • Grow long-term relationships with customers by continually seeking to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Manage and document any Change Request (CR), help Sales to ensure the customer perceive the value of the CR (up-sell).
  • Manage project resources allocations together with the Integration Manager
  • Apply project management process and use related tools deployed in Delivery team , in particular: Regular tracking (once a month at least) on project budget (time, costs and forecast Estimate To Complete) and other KPI defined. Managing billing/revenue recognition tasks and milestones acceptance. Organizing or participating to governance meeting with relevant stakeholders/management
  • Secondary duties: Pre-sales on custom request engagement: Contribute to identify customer use cases and requirements with Solution Sales and Solution Expert. Contribute to Professional Services quotations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with successful track record in IT Customer Project Management, with preference in the digital payment domain.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish languages. Portuguese will be a plus.
  • Experience working with and understanding the dynamics with international customers.
  • Mobile for traveling on business trip at customer premises or Thales premises.
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and converting them into solution design requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Fair knowledge and understanding of IT integrations challenges.
  • Both technical and sales-oriented to drive customer relationship during project and have the ability to manage complex issues in an international environment, and stress resistant.
  • Knowledge and understanding of global Internet, IT and security technologies and market.
  • Overall solution knowledge from Software/Server/application, from project set-up to production deployment.
  • Understanding of IT solution development and deployment lifecycles.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification is strong plus.
  • Basic technical skills desirable: Knowledge and experience in AWS, SSL, certificates, key management, JSON, YAML files, Apache HTTP and other web servers (proxy, reverse proxy), SOAP / REST API. Good knowledge of tools (e.g. Confluence, GIT, Jira, Splunk).
