Job Responsibilities
- Incorporate the schedules of program partners and verify sequences.
- Consolidate initial and actual costs (NRC and RC) upon program/project completion.
- Oversee and consolidate technical and economic performance, and report any irregularities.
- Manage program requirements and prompt milestones.
- Handle program and project management tasks, including reference systems, planning, technical and financial aspects, and risk management.
- Have a strong background in design engineering (not manufacturing, sustaining, or process engineering, but actual design engineering for new products).
- Possess experience managing projects, with a preference for managing heavy engineering projects.
- Have experience leading the development of new products (New Product Introduction).
- Be familiar with design processes such as proposals, PDR/CDR/TRR, qualification and certification test campaigns, and understand the challenges of new development projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Experience
- 4-6 years of related experience leading a medium-sized project or multiple concurrent large work packages.
- Experience within the aviation and/or aerospace industry.
- Experience in planning or managing projects, with the ability to develop, lead, and motivate teams.
- Strong organizational skills, including multi-functional team coordination.
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools, risk management, and opportunities management.
Other Skills
Proficiency with MS Project or Planisware; competent with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
