Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Project & Development Services in Mexico. The role oversees end-to-end corporate interior and commercial Real Estate projects, coordinating clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver on scope, schedule, and quality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management.
  • 4+ years in project management, construction management, architecture, or engineering.
  • Experience managing corporate interiors, office fit-outs, or similar construction projects.
  • On-site work in Mexico (Montes Urales area).

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects through design, procurement, construction, handover, and close-out.
  • Serve as primary day-to-day contact for client and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, landlords, and consultants.
  • Lead project meetings, track decisions and actions, and ensure follow-up.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, forecasts, commitments, and change orders.
  • Manage procurement, RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract execution.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, documentation and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, design, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, and payment applications.
  • Prepare client reports, updates, risk registers, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch lists, handover, warranties, and close-out.
  • Ensure compliance with client, building, safety, permit, REPSE, IMSS, and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our Project & Development Services in Mexico. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate interior and commercial Real Estate projects, acting as the primary point of contact between the client, consultants, contractors, vendors, landlords, and internal teams.

This role requires a professional who can independently manage multiple project workstreams while maintaining strong control over scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, procurement, safety, and client expectations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, client-oriented, financially disciplined, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage both strategic project decisions and detailed day-to-day execution. The Project Manager is expected to take ownership of the project, anticipate risks and issues, develop solutions, and ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the client’s objectives, corporate standards, and agreed project parameters.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage projects successfully throughout design, procurement, construction, handover, and close-out.

  • Lead project meetings, track decisions and action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, forecasts, commitments, and change orders.
  • Manage procurement, RFPs, bid evaluations, contractor selection, and contract execution.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, documentation, and compliance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, design, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, and payment applications.
  • Prepare client reports, executive updates, risk registers, decision logs, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch lists, handover documentation, warranties, and final close-out.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable client, building, safety, permit, REPSE, IMSS, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management. Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
  • Professional Experience: Approximately 4+ years of relevant experience in project management, construction management, architecture, engineering. Demonstrated experience managing corporate interiors, office fit-outs, or similar construction projects.
  • Location: Montes Urales Advanced English
  • Salary: 34,000-36,000 mxn PM
  • Location: On-site –Mexico,MEX
