Formación

• Active student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business or Administration with at least 12 months remaining.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.
• Ability to manage reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written).

Responsabilidades

• Assist in managing projects for GM Financial Mexico & Peru following the PMO framework and deliver results.
• Support project documentation in Plan View and ensure repository cleanup/update.
• Update PMO materials to keep templates current.
• Populate intake requests for new projects/initiatives and support PMO Committee approvals.
• Review risk, issues and mitigation plans with the Business Project Manager.

Job Description

GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.

Responsibilities

The Project Management Office Intern supports the Mexico & Peru PMO in producing metrics and project dashboards that consolidate all MX & PE projects, aiding in monitoring and status visibility. The role involves administering project documents in the official business Project Place and updating PMO materials to ensure information displayed is current. The intern will gain knowledge of key project management aspects and frameworks.

We are looking for an intern with strong organization, reporting, and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

In This Role You Will

• Assist in managing projects from GM Financial Mexico & Peru, following the PMO framework and delivering excellent results.
• Support project/initiative documentation in Plan View and ensure cleanup/update of the repository.
• Update PMO materials to keep templates current.
• Aid in populating intake requests for new projects/initiatives and provide administrative support for approval in the PMO Committee.
• Review risk, issues and mitigation plans with the Business Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Active student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business or Administration with at least 12 months remaining until graduation.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.
• Ability to manage reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Location: Monterrey, NL
Time Availability: 6-7 hours daily.
