Project Engineer

We are seeking Project Engineer (Based in Silao, Guanajuato) to manage and coordinate customized cable assembly projects supporting local and regional growth. Key duties include acting as the technical and economic contact, managing project realization, supporting new solutions with design and manufacturing considerations, introducing new product designs into production, collaborating across departments, understanding customer specifications, preparing engineering documentation, and providing quotations.

HARTING aims to be a trusted advisor and partner directly with OEMs and distribution partners for standard and value-added products, as well as product development initiatives.

To succeed, you will be highly driven to:

• Serve as the local contact for technical and economic aspects of cable assembly projects.
• Manage projects to realize customized solutions, including engineering and calculations based on HARTING's product portfolio.
• Support the development of new solutions considering "fit for purpose" and "design for manufacturing".
• Manage the introduction of new product designs into production.
• Collaborate with internal departments and the global business unit to support product design and market introduction.
• Understand drawings, technical specifications, and customer designs.
• Prepare designs and specifications for supply chain and customer presentations.
• Provide customer quotations and proposals within company policy.

Must Have Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
