QST Solutions Limited is seeking a Project Engineer for Mexicali to manage new product introductions, process changes, KPI improvements, and standard costs updates. You will lead resource planning, project execution, and stakeholder reporting in a manufacturing setting focused on automotive sensor components.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in manufacturing engineering or program management, strong KPI knowledge, and English proficiency, with willingness to travel 20–30% of activities.

Formación

• Requires a manufacturing engineer with 3–4 years of experience.
• Experience as a Program manager, Lean Manufacturing, or Industrial engineer preferred.
• Ability to transfer production lines and manage resource needs.
• Knowledge of KPIs and ability to report progress.
• Proficient in English; willingness to travel 20–30%.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.

Responsabilidades

• Involves early involvement in assigned projects and defining resources.
• Manages development resources (human, financial, material) for projects.
• Executes work per the project plan and tracks progress.
• Identifies issues and applies corrective actions to meet schedule and budget.
• Documents and reports progress to stakeholders and customers.
• Ensures all deliverables are provided to stakeholders and maintains the customer portal.

Our operations focus on the manufacturing of speed, position, and magnetic sensor solutions used in the automotive industry worldwide.

What are we looking for?

The Project Engineer will manage projects involving new product introductions, process change management, KPI improvements, standard costs for materials and assumed overhead updates; Project management tools such as Project Management, APQP, Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.

Activities of the position

• Early involvement in assigned projects.
• Defines and manages the required resources for the development of the projects (human resources, financial resources, material resources)
• Carries out the planned work according to the project plan.
• Tracks project progress, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective actions to ensure the project stays on track and within budget.
• Document and report project progress internally, to corporative and to customers
• Make sure that all project deliverables are delivered to stakeholders.
• Customer portal, Capacity studies project maintenance.

Qualifications

• Manufacture engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience
• Expertise as a Program manager, Lean Manufacturing, or Industrial engineer
• Expertise in transferring lines of production
• Knowledge in KPI's
• English (proficient or professional)
• Available to travel (20 to 30 % of the activities)
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering
• Auto or mechanical industry (not required)
• Green belt six sigma or lean manufacturing (not required)
• Certification as a Program manager, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing (not required)
