Daimler Truck AG is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications, databases and system integrations for manufacturing operations. The role spans frontend, backend (C#) and API development, with emphasis on DevOps, lifecycle management and cybersecurity compliance.

You will collaborate across teams to enable Industry 4.0 initiatives and digital transformation, requiring strong English (B2-C1) and Spanish (C1) proficiency and project-management

Formación

• Experience in software development across frontend, backend (C#) and API development.
• Experience with DevOps, ALM, and managing application lifecycles.
• Knowledge of manufacturing digitalization and Industry 4.0 concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications and integrations for manufacturing operations.
• Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis to improve software lifecycle.
• Manage source code repositories and deployments to ensure secure, reliable releases.
• Support server environments, database administration and cybersecurity compliance.
• Contribute to manufacturing digitalization initiatives to enable data-driven decisions.

Objective of the position: Develop, deploy, maintain and continuously improve digital applications, databases and software solutions for manufacturing and plant operations by executing the full software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, coding, testing, implementation, troubleshooting and application support, while coordinating DevOps group and activities related to source code management, GitHub repositories, deployments, server environments, cybersecurity, technical documentation and application governance to ensure the reliability, scalability, availability and continuous evolution of digital platforms that drive operational excellence, Industry 4.0 initiatives and digital transformation across the organization

Experience: Software Development and Digital Solutions, with experience in DevOps, application lifecycle management, manufacturing digitalization and technical team coordination.

Main Functions

• - Design, develop/program, test, deploy and maintain web applications, databases and system integrations for manufacturing operations. Translate business requirements into scalable and secure digital solutions through frontend, backend and database development while ensuring compliance with software engineering standards.
• - Provide technical support for existing applications, troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, develop enhancements and ensure application reliability, performance and continuous improvement throughout the software lifecycle-
• - Manage source code repositories, GitHub standards, application releases, deployment activities, version control and environment configurations to support the secure and efficient delivery of digital solutions.
• Support server environments, database administration, access management, technical documentation, infrastructure governance and cybersecurity compliance to ensure application availability, maintainability and operational continuity
• Support manufacturing digitalization initiatives through the implementation of technologies and solutions that automate processes, improve traceability, increase data visibility and enable operational decision-making aligned with Industry 4.0 objectives.
