Summary

This role involves developing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, modifying, and installing programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Write programs that involve formatted output and basic reporting.
• Prepare technical specifications and test plans.
• Develop and maintain computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information.
• Devise sample input data to test program accuracy.
• Resolve questions related to program intent, input data acquisition, output requirements, coding, and system integrity checks.
• Test programs using sample or actual data and assist in user acceptance training.
• Participate in the rollout and timely delivery of developed applications.
• Maintain and develop documentation for responsible areas, including Design Review Committee (DRC), Security Review Committee (SRC), DevOps Tasks, and documentation of classes and methods.
• Provide status updates on project plans and schedules, communicate risks, and respond to customer emails.
• Maintain positive relations with colleagues, encourage suggestions for system improvements, and conduct training.
• Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues outside regular hours.
• Organize ideas clearly, using appropriate business style.
• Identify ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.
• Drive continuous improvement through trend analysis and metrics management.
• Share knowledge across facilities and ensure data confidentiality.
• Work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and security policies, and complete mandatory trainings.

Hard Skills

Proficiency in coding languages including:

• .Net Framework (Intermediate - Advanced)
• Angular (Basic – Intermediate)
• HTML (Strong)
• SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgresSQL, etc.)

Ability to create UML diagrams for application and process design.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience or training. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills

Advanced PC skills, familiarity with Jabil’s software, and the ability to read, write, and present information effectively.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and solve problems involving standard variables.
