Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, seeks a Production Planner/Transfer Specialist to secure proper flow of raw materials and finished products in manufacturing lines. The role ensures material handling adheres to production line procedures aligned with weekly scheduling, line balance, and variance control.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in medical manufacturing, basic English, and proficiency with MES and JDEdwards.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in Medical Industry
• Minimum high school or equivalent education
• Lean Manufacturing certification preferred
• Basic English writing and reading skills
• Strong cognitive, analytical and mathematical abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Lean tools (Cycle Time, Bottleneck, 6S, Line Balancing)
• Experience in manufacturing processes (Swaging, Winding, Packaging)
• Ability to operate scales for variance processing
• Ability to handle pallets and heavy loads
• Experience with Combined products (triclosan) preferred
• Extensive knowledge of JDEdwards system
• Knowledge of production systems: Qlik Sense, Heijunka MES, Thunderbird Artwork System

Responsabilidades

• Schedule production orders for the manufacturing line per weekly requirements using Heijunka or equivalent system
• Ensure correct line balance based on planning requirements with the supervisor of manufacturing
• Assign production associates across processes or cells as needed
• Act as central communication point between Vault, Planning and Manufacturing to prevent material shortages
• Manage line priorities such as Backorder and protocols as communicated by planning
• Perform cycle counts for Floor Stock components per frequency
• Assign and close operations and transfer finished product orders through MES and/or JDEdwards
• Close orders for Leporello and dispenser boxes to finished product orders
• Deliver finished product orders in bags or boxes to Transfer or Sollas areas
• Calculate yield for blended products (PLUS) and provide material for cleaning of dedicated equipment
• Receive and count variances at the end of production orders for components like needles and sutures
• Ensure variance delivery to the Vault
• Requisition, receive and pick Floor Stock components
• Physically pick Floor Stock for machines to maintain inventory levels and prevent line stoppages
