Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico seeks a Production Programmer and Transfers professional to manage production sequencing, line balance, and material transfers. You will coordinate with planning, Vault, and manufacturing to prevent shortages and ensure smooth line operation.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in medical manufacturing, Lean certification, and strong analytical skills. The role requires basic English and experience with JDEdwards, Qlik Sense, and MES systems.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in Medical Industry.
• Minimum required high school or equivalent.
• Technical degree in Computing preferred.
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• Basic English reading/writing skills.
• Strong cognitive, analytical and math abilities.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Lean tools like Cycle Time, Bottleneck, 6S, Line Balancing.
• Experience in manufacturing processes like Swaging, Winding, and Packaging.
• Ability to use scales for variance processing.
• Ability to handle pallets and heavy loads.
• Experience with Blended products (triclosan) preferably.
• Knowledge of JDEdwards and production systems.
• Knowledge of production systems: Qlik Sense, Heijunka MES, Thunderbird Artwork System.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule production orders for the manufacturing line per weekly requirements using Heijunka or equivalent.
• Ensure correct line balance based on planning with supervisor alignment.
• Assign production associates across processes or cells as required.
• Serve as central communication point between Vault, Planning and Manufacturing to prevent material shortages.
• Manage line priorities such as Backorder and Protocols as communicated by planning and manufacturing.
• Perform cycle counts for Floor Stock components per unit frequency; follow plant procedures.
• Authorize closure and final transfer of finished orders via MES and/or JDEdwards with proper reconciliation.
• Close orders for Leporello, dispensers, etc., toward finished goods.
• Deliver finished goods in crates to Transfer or Sollas areas as applicable.
• Calculate yield for blended products (PLUS).
• Provide material for cleaning of dedicated equipment for blended products (PLUS).
• Receive and count variances at end of production orders for components such as needles, sutures.
• Counted variances delivered to Vault post-count.
• Procure, receive and pick Floor Stock components.
