The Program Manager (NPI) manages and coordinates new customer projects, transfer projects, sustaining engineering support, and site/company Continuous Improvement Projects. The Program Manager works directly with customers and closely with the Sales Team, Quoting Team, Site Manufacturing/Engineering/Quality Teams, and Customer Service Team to drive projects from award through validation and into production.

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for customer programs from award through production launch.
  • Deliver new projects through all phases of development and production to meet company on-time delivery, quality, and profitability expectations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, communication plans, and action trackers for all projects.
  • Drive innovation and technical development, including product design concepts, automation concepts, capital equipment purchases, and new technologies for critical customer programs.
  • Provide leadership guidance to customers, site managers, site manufacturing/quality engineers, and external suppliers.
  • Consult with the customer's technical personnel on product design, materials selection, and quality requirements.
  • Responsible for scheduling and executing customer validations in conjunction with manufacturing and quality teams.
  • Estimate or revise costs on existing or new molding/assembly programs and direct modifications and changes to existing molds from customer revisions.
  • Responsible for tracking all active projects and communicating status to senior management.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management in a manufacturing environment; medical device and consumer packaging experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of injection molding tooling, processing, quality, materials, or product design.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with project management tools/processes, i.e., Microsoft Project, action trackers, ERP systems (IQMS preferred), quoting systems, etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • 10 years of experience in Project Management preferred.
