Flextronics - The Flex Company in Aguascalientes is seeking an Intern Purchasing to support the Materials team. You will generate reports, maintain supplier relations, and ensure timely material availability to meet production needs.

You will assist in daily purchasing activities, place orders for raw materials, track shipments, and help adjust POs according to the production plan and MRPs. Strong English and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Advanced English (80%).
• Office package proficiency with intermediate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Generate purchasing metric reports for the team.
• Support purchasing team in daily activities.
• Place orders for raw materials and purchased parts per production requirements.
• Review and modify purchase orders with production plan changes.
• Track shipments and push as needed to meet timelines.
• Ensure active components meet production needs and are procured at requested prices.
• Manage orders, reschedules and cancellations based on requisitions and MRPs.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Intern Purchasing located in Aguascalientes Reporting to the Materials Manager, Buyer role. This role will be responsible for generating purchasing reports, managing purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring timely material availability to meet production needs.

What a typical day looks like:

• Generate purchasing metric reports and get status from the team.
• Support all purchasing team in daily activities.
• Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production.
• Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List.
• Tracking shipments, urging them if needed.
• Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for the accord price in the request.
• Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output.
