Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Intern (Ingeniero Industrial) located in Aguascalientes.

Responsible for increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provides process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulates process, materials, and manufacturing workflow and gives input to process engineer by using REFA, MOST, WITNESS, or adequate tools.
• During NPI, coordinates process planning and setup with respect to takt, cycle time, and direct labor requirements.
• Reviews results during prototyping and trial runs and provides feedback to NPI and sales teams.
• Develops work measurement programs and examines work samples to establish standards for labor utilization.
• Examines staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
• Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchasing equipment.
• Consults with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
• May develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
