Job summary

Flex is expanding its Juarez Automotive division and seeks a Production Supervisor to lead several production lines in a highly technical environment. You will guide engineers and operators to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives, while actively reviewing daily plant performance and driving improvements.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will troubleshoot issues, coach staff, and support project teams with engineering input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required as part of basic qualification.
• Ability to prioritize production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Experience driving process development and cost-improvement projects.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and compliance with policies.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Juarez Automotive.

Reporting to the Director, Operations the Production Supervisor’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for producing several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.
• Lead a team comprising individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsive requirements.
• Reviews daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiency/quality.
• Troubleshoots/analyses operational problems and advises on their resolution. Holds regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding/capability.
• Receives and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and works with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
• Provides technical/operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team.
• May train and coach junior operators.
• Experience in Harnesses (desirable).

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
• Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with standards.
