The Fi Company in Mexico (Tijuana) seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to distribute and supervise production staff, ensuring schedules meet time, quality, and quantity targets in line with customer specifications. The role requires coordinating staff, evaluating performance, and maintaining open lines of communication across levels.

Candidates should have experience in rivet pop, spot welding, MIG/TIG welding, and general mechanical/process engineering, with a track record of meeting

Formación

• Experience leading manufacturing staff and achieving production targets.
• Knowledge of welding processes and related manufacturing work.
• Ability to plan, monitor, and appraise staff performance and provide coaching.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise production staff to meet schedule, quality, and quantity targets.
• Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise results; coach and discipline employees.
• Recruit, orient, and train staff; develop personal growth opportunities.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, equipment, resources, and costs.
• Schedule and assign personnel; track progress; adjust plans; report on shift results.
• Maintain quality standards and enforce organizational procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs and evaluation of new techniques.
• Ensure open communication between shop floor staff, management, and executives.
• Close corrective actions and non-conformities within own area; ensure objectives are met.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and set objectives with timelines.

Distribute and supervise the activities of personnel under their responsibility according to the production schedule, ensuring that production requirements are met in terms of time, quality, and quantity, in accordance with established standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes manufacturing staff results.
• Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods. Implementing cost reductions.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques, Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensure the closure of corrective actions and non-conformities of SGC of their own area.
• Conduct performance evaluations regularly to review the work of an employee and to ensure that the proposed objectives are met.
• Responsible for establishing the employee performance objectives, which must be performed in a certain timeframe.

• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Bilingual English Preferable )
• Experience in Rivet pop, Spot welding, Mig Welding, Tig, Welding, grinders process Industrial, Mechanic or Process Engineering or 5 years of Experience as Production Supervisor or similar Role. Knowledge welding process specifications, standard quality criteria in the industry.
