As we continue to improve and expand our manufacturing efforts, we are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Production Supervisor to join our growing team in Tijuana, Baja California.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Production Teams: Directly supervise a team of production workers. Provide clear instructions, training, and guidance to team members on production processes and procedures. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and quality. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Production Planning and Execution: Work closely with the Foreman and other supervisors to plan and schedule production activities. Monitor production progress and identify any potential bottlenecks or delays. Implement corrective actions to address any issues that arise.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures. Ensure that corrective actions are taken to prevent future defects.
• Safety Management: Enforce all safety regulations and procedures in the production area. Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards. Ensure that all team members are properly trained in safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency. Implement new processes and procedures to enhance productivity and quality. Work with the engineering team to develop and implement solutions to production challenges.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, defects, and downtime. Prepare and submit regular reports to the Foreman on production performance. Document any deviations from standard procedures or specifications.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, or related field) is required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with quality control procedures. Understanding safety regulations and procedures.
• Competencies: Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Other: Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish.
