Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and have experience in automotive continuous improvement processes.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, automotive systems, electromechanical or related fields.

• Knowledge of production safety basics.

Overview

Production Supervisor in Silao, Gto. Responsible for managing production of parts and leading personnel to meet organizational objectives, continuous improvement, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and CT‑PAT standards.
• Guarantee proper staffing, training and development of team members.
• Ensure and facilitate compliance with environmental and occupational health and safety controls.
• Ensure adherence to the 7 safety fundamentals across the plant.
• Lead QCDP objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) and ensure performance targets are met.
• Set QCDP goals for each area of responsibility and implement improvement plans.
• Apply quality basics to avoid delivering defective product.
• Enforce the 7 Basic Personnel Involvement benchmarks.
• Implement and improve standardized work.
• Maintain 5S standards.
• Communicate with UAP manager, other shift supervisors, and support functions to ensure transparent information flow.
• Run workshops to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce waste (Hoshin, SMED).
• Ensure correct staffing of autonomous production groups per customer demand.
• Validate attendance and overtime to ensure correct payroll.
• Promote professional development of personnel and conduct evaluations as per collective bargaining agreement.
• Interpret and apply internal labor regulations.
• Ensure use of personal protective equipment.
• Guarantee work conditions comply with safety requirements; enforce mandatory safety rules.
• Complete required job training and apply knowledge to continuous improvement.
• Use digital tools (Lean platform, DMC, Palantir) effectively.

Qualifications

• Preferably degree in Industrial Engineering, automotive systems, electromechanical or related fields.
• Experience with continuous improvement processes in automotive (Lean Manufacturing).
• Availability to change shifts monthly.
• Knowledge of production safety basics.
• Knowledge of 8D, Core Tools, PC&L basics, HSE regulations.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and customer requirements.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Monitoring of production KPIs.
• Basic knowledge of standardized work.
• Basic English.
• Basic Excel.
