Job summary

Corning Inc. in a dynamic manufacturing environment is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production teams to achieve excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This role is pivotal for daily operational performance, people development, and continuous improvement initiatives on MMC production lines. You will coordinate daily activities, monitor flow, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with policies while participating in core team and quality meetings to support plant objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience on MMC Production lines.
• 2–4 years of experience leading and/or supervising personnel.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production personnel, drive team performance, and manage the overall administration of assigned staff.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule, output, and business unit goals.
• Monitor production flow, resolve operational issues, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture, ensure the training and certification of assigned personnel, and guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in core team and quality meetings to support plant objectives and metrics.
• Lead or participate in projects related to process improvement, productivity, and new product/process introductions.
