Formación

Job Description

This position supports the materials team to ensure customer service and on-time delivery by coordinating production plans, schedules, shipments, inventory control, and production activities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. S&OP - Sales & Operation Process, demand, production, and shipping plan.
  2. Prepare master plans, review firm orders and forecasts to determine monthly sales, considering material restrictions.
  3. Analyze demand versus capacity to generate manufacturing orders.
  4. Communicate with internal and external customers for planning and execution.
  5. Maintain finished product levels to meet customer required dates and achieve RDSL metrics.
  6. Create orders in MRP IndustrIOS based on sales orders and planning programs.
  7. Control production of manufacturing orders.
  8. Verify material availability with buyers and adjust schedules accordingly.
  9. Develop recovery plans based on priorities and material coverage.
  10. Manage inventory levels of finished goods and WIP.
  11. Coordinate with warehouse and production for kitting sequences.
  12. Interact with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
  13. Participate in internal and external meetings as required.
  14. Maintain planning metrics at set levels.
  15. Knowledge of ECN & RMA processes.
  16. Participate in annual physical inventories and analysis.
  17. Follow safety guidelines.
  18. Complete required training and certifications.
  19. Coordinate shipments with customers, production, and warehouse.
  20. Check inventories in final line and packaging areas.
  21. Establish procedures for effective planning.
  22. Work on process improvement projects.
  23. Coordinate new product launches and engineering changes within the Materials Department.

Authority

Primarily the main contact for customers, responsible for analyzing demand, determining production schedules, and ensuring timely shipments.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and materials environments.
  3. Experience in production planning and control for discrete orders.
  4. Analytical problem-solving skills.
  5. Knowledge of ERP-MRP systems (Industrios, SAP, Oracle, JDE, others).
  6. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  7. Effective communication skills.
  8. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
  9. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • APICS Certification (preferred)
  • Green Belt
  • Lean Manufacturing
