Formación

Reporting to the Materials Manager within the Cable Backplanes Operation, the Planning leader primary focus is to oversee the planning and scheduling of manufacturing operations to ensure optimal production efficiency and on-time delivery to customer commit plans, while working in collaboration with procurement team and leadership team to ensure levels of inventory are healthy both in WIP and overall business unit gross inventory.

The planning leader is responsible for talent development, continuous improvement and positive work environment of planning department

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the Production Planning Team, ensuring timely and accurate planning across all production lines.
  • Responsible and managing Production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Analyze production performance and adjust plans proactively to meet delivery targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, ERP utilization, and KPI performance.
  • Monitor and report key planning metrics such as OTD & OTTR ( On time delivery & On time to request ), production plans adherences, and inventory turnover.
  • Provides leadership to Planning team including establishing objectives, setting goals, and managing accountability for attaining deliverables.

Requisitos

  • Engineering bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, electronic, mechanical or related is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Production Manager role
  • English level - 90%.
  • Relevant experience leading planning or production teams.
  • Ability to work across the organization and various disciplines including Engineering, Operations, Program
  • Office, and Business Development.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • Self directed, result and goal oriented.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Leadership and development skills (developing team members).
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
