Güntner in Mexico is seeking a Senior Intercompany Production Planner to lead demand planning across multi-plant networks, optimize inventory, and ensure on-time delivery for global units. You will activate parameters for capacities, schedule MRP items, and support monthly PTO and production plans.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 4+ years in production planning in global manufacturing, and strong SAP MM/PP/MRP skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience in Production Planning within global manufacturing environments.
• Intercompany planning and cross-border production experience.
• Proficient in SAP MM and PP modules; strong MRP knowledge.
• Business English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate production schedules across international plants to balance capacity and align intercompany orders.
• Plan items via MRP, review orders, and release production orders.
• Monitor capacity and bottlenecks using ERP data; maintain capacity parameters.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and propose cycle count programs.
• Track KPIs including PTO, OEE, schedule adherence, delay rates.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Intercompany Production Planner to lead, evaluate, and sequence product demand across multi-plant networks. In this role, you will be responsible for activating and maintaining parameters for critical installed capacities (bottlenecks), scheduling manufacturing for MRP items, and optimizing inventory levels. You will ensure seamless cross-border production alignment, drive on-time delivery targets for global business units, and support monthly PTO and production plan execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Intercompany & Cross-Plant Coordination: Coordinate, monitor, and align production schedules across international manufacturing plants to balance capacity, mitigate risks, and streamline intercompany order fulfillment.
• MRP & Order Management: Perform effective planning of items via MRP; review system-planned orders, analyze planned item movements, and confirm/release production orders.
• Capacity & Bottleneck Control: Monitor capacity planning (Gantt Charts) regarding manufacturing throughput and material availability within the ERP; maintain critical installed capacity parameters.
• Inventory Control & Accuracy: Ensure inventory accuracy by developing and proposing cycle count programs for material handlers, inventory analysts, and production leaders.
• Performance Tracking & Metrics: Establish and maintain KPIs including On-Time Delivery (PTO), critical sub-assembly compliance, delay rates, OEE, and schedule adherence.
• Supply & Purchasing Alignment: Generate precise purchase requisitions following thorough capacity and demand analyses.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in Production Planning within global manufacturing environments (metalworking, automotive, HVAC, or refrigeration industries highly preferred).
• Intercompany Expertise: Proven track record in multi-site/intercompany planning, cross-border production alignment, and global capacity allocation.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAP (specifically MM and PP modules) and hands-on experience with advanced MRP systems.
• Languages: Business English (written and spoken) for daily interaction with international teams and facilities.
