Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Planner to create production programs based on customer demand (SAP) and ensure supply of components to internal or external customers on quantity and on time. You will maintain high-level performance in key metrics, including OTD and DOH, while coordinating with multiple teams.

The role emphasizes planning, scheduling shifts, and leading value streams to meet targets with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.

Formación

• Experience with manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency metrics.
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems, especially Advance Planning Systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Math and statistics proficiency.
• SAP knowledge and effective communication.
• Inventory management.
• Power BI and MS Office proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Analyze capacity by area, line, machine, and/or assemblies based on demand.
• Make action plans and follow-up to achieve results.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Assure demand management and forecasting for successful business model.
• Proactively lead value stream to meet internal targets.
• Propose improvements and create systems for effective production programs.
• Coordinate with functions for manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production.
• Coordinate with plant Production Planners to execute Production Plans weekly and monthly.
• Schedule shifts according to production needs.
• Monitor jobs to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
• Collaborate with production, tool room, purchasing, Opex, quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
• Work according to LSW.
• Meet objectives in OTD, DOH – Avoid overstock.
• Level production to meet customer expectations.
• Resolve quality and HR issues proactively.
• Perform weekly corrections using ZMRPEXLIST tool (Exceptions).
• Maintain updated SAP parameters for planning area (MRP 1-4).
• Complete priority report for USA & Domestic Market within 24 hours of email receipt.
• Respond to delivery time inquiries within 24 hours
