Production Planner

What you’ll do:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably working with medium to high volume products. The Production Planner will collaborate with Manufacturing, Component Planning, and Customer Planning teams to understand demand and supply needs, balancing these against operational goals. This role requires understanding manufacturing processes, translating them into production plans, coordinating necessary functions, and executing these plans successfully. Responsibilities include planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements, optimizing the use of the company's capacity, and managing inventory levels.

1. Ensure daily production requirements are met to satisfy customer expectations.
2. Follow up with all teams to expedite materials and documents to meet schedules.
3. Create and prioritize production schedules for optimization.
4. Maintain production schedules and related reports.
5. Follow up on shipping priorities daily.
6. Plan using JDE & production leveling (2 weeks).
7. Daily production follow-up (PEFF).
8. Create Heijunka templates.
9. Reschedule production plans as needed.
10. Monitor inventory levels.
11. Conduct Heijunka Riel audits vs PEFF.
12. Provide production support and follow up on engineering changes, SOPs, and build-outs.
13. Follow up on MRB (AST).
14. Review production rates vs. cell capacity weekly.
15. Participate in daily OT meetings.

What is required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Industrial Engineering.
• Deep understanding of logistics fundamentals and supply chain interactions, including finished products and raw materials.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of MRP concepts.
• Ability to understand BOMs.
• English proficiency at 70% (written/spoken), with negotiation skills and the ability to provide feedback during discussions.
