ABB in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco, is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to optimize assembly methods and equipment, reducing labor hours and cost while ensuring quality and safety. You will define working phase sequences for new processes to meet product cost and budget targets.

The role requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical, with at least 5 years in manufacturing and specific winding process expertise for electric motors.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical.
• Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of winding process experience for electric motors (fully automated preferred).
• Maintenance and monitoring of automated systems (PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical and electronics).
• Familiar with KPI’s (OEE, MTTR, MTTF).
• Knowledge of English is fluent; Spanish communication required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to reduce labor hours and optimize processes.
• Approve process designs and perform final tests for projects.
• Provide start-up support for new processes/equipment and train maintenance and production staff.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction.
• Lead testing activities, define criteria, and select external providers.
