Job Description - Production Manager ASCO Queretaro (009DZH)

Mission
Responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing/production methods. Strong involvement in continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the performance of a production/manufacturing entity through hierarchical animation of teams.
2. Aligns resources with needs within short, medium- & long-term horizon, guarantees training plans for successful execution of standardized work, leads short interval management at sector level, formulates/escalates issues where necessary.
3. Strong contributor to continuous improvement. People management & budgetary accountability.

Main Activities

1. Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the shop floor, including managing reported incidents and near misses.
2. As manager, he's the legal responsible in case of accident.
3. Enforce compliance with quality system and proper appliance of the defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
4. Adapt the human and technical resources by integrating economic criteria.
5. Manage the performance and the productivity of the resources.
6. Manage load/resource balance according to the MPS and the customer portfolio.
7. Participate at the development of Master Production Schedule.
8. Manage his team according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle event of the plant.
9. Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well being.
10. Define training axes according to competencies target vs missions.
11. Expand cooperation to achieve the collective performance.
12. Lead change management and social impacts.
13. Provide the know-how and industrial expertise for PCO (projects).
