A global climate technologies company located in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico is seeking a Production Manager to ensure workplace safety and monitor production efficiency. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The position also requires strong project management and leadership skills.

Formación

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Production Manager.
  • Proficiency in PFMEA’S, 8D’s, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Understanding of safety regulations.

Production Manager

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety of all employees; proactively develop and participates in safety assessments and risk elimination programs.
  • Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
  • Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.
  • Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.
  • Works with the leads and production team to develop and track against a production plan reflective of the defined project goals.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks, clarifies project priorities, identifies risks, and escalates issues that cannot be internally resolved.
  • Clearly defines all workflows, communicates documented processes, and ensures all practices are being refined and tuned with learnings.
  • Provides regular status reports and capacity plan updates with the team.
  • Identifies the best tools and technologies to help manage workflow and optimizes their implementation and deployment.
  • Identifies processes that can improve project efficiency and act as a change agent for them.
  • Ensures internal department workflow and tracking documents up to date.
  • Support the team on all integrations and proposals.
  • Review worker performance and identify training needs.
  • KPI’s tracking and improvement plan implementation (Safety, OEE, Downtime, Scrap, Productivity, Capital Plan, Cost Reductions, etc.).

Requirements

  • Industrial, Electronical or Mechanical Engineering Degree. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Production Manager
  • PFMEA’S, 8D’s, Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation
  • Understanding of safety regulations
  • Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong decision-making skills
