This position reports to

Manufacturing Unit Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
2. Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
3. Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.
4. Providing support as required during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical or similar engineering.
• +8 years of experience in similar roles.
• Manages supervisors & leads members from cross functional teams.
• Manages hourly and salary employees.
• Extended shifts, ensuring coverage and supervision in different horary ranges and weekends.
• Experience managing teams, in areas as production, planning, manufacturing or similar.
• Business English is a must.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions in difficult or ambiguous situations.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and development skills.
