Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an experienced machine operator to set up and run production machines according to blueprints. The role involves interpreting engineering diagrams, creating toolpaths, and ensuring quality through thorough checks.

You will perform deburring, cleaning, sanding, and setup tasks while adhering to SOPs and productivity targets. Documentation of time, outputs, and defects is required to maintain smooth production flow.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and design docs to develop prototypes and create toolpaths.
• Perform deburring, cleaning, sanding, setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machining equipment.
• Follow SOPs, meet quality and productivity standards, and document time and production quantities.
• Conduct quality checks, identify defects, and complete documentation.

Job Requirements

• Interpreting blueprints, diagrams, engineering diagrams, and other design documents to develop prototype models, creating toolpaths from models, and operating machining equipment.
• Performing various tasks like deburring, cleaning, sanding, setting up, operating the machining equipment, and troubleshooting the operation and flow issues.
• Following the standard operating procedures, meeting the specified quality and productivity standards, and documenting time and production quantity records.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying defects, and completing appropriate documentation.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.
