Job summary

Sonoco in Querétaro, México RPC Plant is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, guide and train the team, and monitor schedules to meet deadlines. You will implement quality controls, drive efficiency improvements, and coordinate with maintenance, QC and logistics to ensure smooth production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years in production/manufacturing, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive issue resolution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with cross-department collaboration.
• Familiarity with production equipment, processes, quality control and safety basics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of production workers, providing guidance, training and support.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines and goals.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to meet standards.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control and logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain records of production output, downtime and issues.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
