PRODUCTION ENGINEERING SR. SPECIALIST

This position supports the Production Engineering team, committed to the development and upgrade of production systems, participates on projects related to productivity improvement, and secures flawless quality maintaining competitiveness in the market. Improves facility error rates and supports the research and investment of new technologies in major production systems and automation facilities.

Key Role

Supports production, production machines loss analysis and improvement productivity projects.

Analysis of production lines responding to new models, calculation of investment costs, and response to production facilities.

Develops problem solving strategies related to operation and quality management making benchmark with related areas (Mfg, Engineering, QA, etc.), PM Organization Management.

Participates on the implementation of new products/parts and makes process / parts improvements.

Follows machines stabilization, idle time improvement, corrective maintenance, improvement of UPH & machines tact time.

Develops and applies new Digital Transformation / AI projects to production lines/equipment.

Analysis of cost reduction and standardization projects in Mechanical Parts.

Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience(s) & duration: 3 - 5 years in manufacturing processes and designing for manufacturability, automation facility development or Setup experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of 3D / 2D CAD Software and C, C++, C#, Java, Python, PLC control capability desired
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
• Language / Level: English / Intermediate - Advanced (Spoken and written)
