ABB in Monterrey area seeks a skilled CNC production supervisor to optimize assembly methods, supervise CNC technician teams, and drive efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will analyze cycle times, tool performance and start-ups, coordinate model changeovers, monitor KPIs, resolve machining issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Fluent English is beneficial and visas are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proven experience with CAD systems and Mastercam.
• Advanced interpretation of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with DMG Mori, Haas, Star, and Index machine tools.
• Intermediate English level.
• Valid visa and passport is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for CNC machine programming, setup, and commissioning.
• Coordinate production start-ups, model changeovers, and process releases.

• Diagnose and resolve machining, tooling, programming, and quality issues.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and train personnel.

This position reports to: Operations Manager __

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.

• Supervise the daily activities of the CNC technician team.

• Coordinate production start-ups, model changeovers, and process releases.
