Continental is seeking a Production Manager for its plant in Mexico. You will translate the production strategy into actionable plans, drive targets, and coordinate equipment investments.

You will lead continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands and optimise capacity. You will oversee planning, production execution, and people development while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Formación

• University degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing plant start-ups.
• Production Manager / Head of Production experience required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in various production functions.
• Cross-functional experience (engineering, quality, supply chain) preferred.
• Comprehensive experience in rubber and plastic production processes.
• 3+ years in a leadership position with people management responsibility.
• Experience working with international teams and understanding of foreign cultures.
• Advanced English level required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate the production function of the plant/operations unit.
• Translate production strategy into action plans and ensure implementation.
• Contribute to strategic and operative planning (investments, capacity, headcount).
• Ensure achievement of production targets according to customer expectations.
• Initiate and control investments for production equipment and processes.
• Lead continuous improvement activities using CBS methods and training measures.
• Interface with segment/BU/division for local production requirements and feedback.
• Participate in global or local production-related and cross-functional projects.
• Conduct employee dialogues, development and coaching of staff.
• Plan all production processes, equipment and worker resources per demand and capacity.
