Join Our Team as a Production Control and Logistics Manager at Johnson Electric!

Location: Calera, Zacatecas, Mexico (100% Onsite)

Supplemental Pay: Annual Incentive Eligible

Relocation: Support Provided for Relocation

NOTE: This position requires a local candidate, or a candidate interested in Relocation to the Zac, Mexico region

As our next Production Control and Logistics Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing supply chain and materials management operations at our facility. Your expertise in logistics and materials management will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee logistics and materials management to ensure timely delivery, with an emphasis on supporting and coaching the team for enhanced performance.
  • Lead Customer Service and Planning teams to improve service levels, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.
  • Control procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations, aligned with production schedules while providing guidance on best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics and materials management, particularly in coaching and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Oracle and Rapid Response, and familiarity with safety regulations within logistics and warehousing.
  • Experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis Supplier Trainings
  • IATF 16949 & ISO 9001 (Automotive Quality Management)
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management (Kanban, FIFO/LIFO)
  • Business level English skills required
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Management (JIT, JIS, lean logistics)
  • Production Planning & Control (scheduling, capacity planning)
  • Automotive & Manufacturing Knowledge (APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949)
  • Proficiency in ERP & MRP Systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management (Kanban, FIFO/LIFO)
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
